Socomec

Teleport can connect to Socomec meters. You can connect using Modbus RTU using the RS485 serial interface.

Modbus RTU over RS485

1. Connect the serial cable between the serial port of the Teleport and the serial port of the meter.
2. Navigate to the Modbus settings through the Easy Config configuration software or directly from the remote display. If you are using the Easy Config software you can modify the necessary settings in the configuration menu. The RS485 settings are in the parameters section under Connectivity.
3. Teleport is configured to use the following Modbus interface configuration (let us know if you use a custom configuration):
   • Device address: 1
   • Baud rate: 115200
   • Stop bits: 1
   • Parity: none
