Solplanet

The Teleport can connect to Solplanet/AISWEI Solar and Hybrid Inverters. You can connect to the inverter directly using Modbus RTU with the RS485 serial interface.

Connect to an inverter via Modbus RTU over RS485

  1. Connect the serial cable between the serial port of the Teleport (see instructions) and the serial port of the inverter. Depending on the configuration, Teleport can connect to up to 3 strings of inverters. Please follow the wiring instructions for the serial connection to the inverter (pages 36-38) from the manufacturer.

  2. Configure the modbus settings on the inverter as per manufacturers specifications. The default slave address is 1.

  3. Verify the following settings:

    • Baud rate: 9600
    • Parity bit: none
    • Data bit: 8
    • Stop bit: 1
