Solar Groups

Solar groups aggregate the following properties of their subassets:

Aggregated Properties
  • activePower
  • reactivePower
  • availableActivePower
  • generatedEnergy

Data of the individual subassets is given in the inverters array of the group report:

  • For assets which support inverter level data, each inverter is added directly to the array.
  • If an asset does not support inverter level data, the following properties are reported if supported by the asset connector:
Subasset Properties
  • activePower
  • reactivePower
  • availableActivePower
  • generatedEnergy
  • powerFactor

To distinguish between subassets, each inverter has their slaveId in the report offset by 1000 * <SUBASSET-INDEX>. Note that these are not valid Modbus unit IDs, and are only used to identify the inverters. For example, in a solar group with two assets, the inverters of the first asset will have slave IDs of 1-255. The second asset will have slave IDs of 1001-1255. A subasset which does not support inverter-level data will have the slave ID 0, 1000, 2000, etc.

Alarms and info are collected from the subassets and reported at both levels.
