Ayond

The Teleport can connect to Ayond JuiceBox battery systems using Modbus TCP over ethernet. The battery system can be operated via Teleport to manage the available mode of operation:

Configuration

  1. Connect an ethernet cable between the router and the Ayond battery system, as well as between the router and the ETH1 port of the Teleport. Please navigate to our appendix for more instructions on how to integrate with a router.
  2. Make sure the system is configured to allow control and readout via Modbus. Ayond has to enable this.
  3. The battery system will expose multiple IP adresses that have port 502 open. Check with Ayond which one is the correct IP to control and read out the entire system via Modbus, and communicate this IP address to us.
