C-Battery

The Teleport can connect to C-Battery 60K systems with Golen inverters using Modbus RTU over RS485. The asset can be directly controlled via the Teleport to manage the available mode of operation:

Configuration

Modbus RTU over RS485

1. Connect the serial cable between the serial port of the Teleport and the serial port of the meter.
2. The default settings are:
   • Device address: 1
   • Baud rate: 9600
   • Data bits: 8
   • Stop bits: 1
   • Parity: None

Warning

When operating the battery, any active power requests that exceed the system’s nominal power range of 60 kW will be limited to a maximum of 60 kW or a minimum of -60 kW.

Note

If solar (PV) is connected to the DC side of the same PCS as the battery, the Teleport control is limited to the AC output power. This may lead to unintended curtailment of PV. Please check the OEM documentation on the exact consequences of this configuration.
