Pixii

The Teleport can connect to Pixii PowerShaper battery systems using Modbus TCP over ethernet or Modbus RTU over RS485. The battery system can be operated via Teleport to manage the available mode of operation:

  • Real Power Dispatch

Configuration

Modbus TCP

  1. Connect the ethernet cable between the ETH1 port of the Teleport and the Pixii gateway control unit. If this port is already connected to the router, navigate to our appendix for generic instructions on how to integrate with a router. Make sure to note the IP of Teleport and the IP of the asset(s).

  2. If the battery is connected to a router, note down and let us know the IP address of the Pixii PowerShaper.

  3. In Pixii setting interface, go to Menu - Communication - Modbus, check the settings:

    • Enabled: yes
    • Type: TCP/IP v4
    • Msg. lifetime: 60
    • Listen to all: yes
    • TCP/IP client port: 502
    • Multicabinet regulation type: simple
