Pon

The Teleport can connect to Pon Energy Rental battery systems that are fitted with the DEIF ASC-4 Battery controller using Modbus TCP over ethernet. When in operation, the Pon system will receive a DEIF identifier. The battery system can be operated via Teleport to manage the available mode of operation:

During commissioning, the battery must be put in auto mode once the Pon engineer hands the system over to Withthegrid. If this does not happen, the Teleport cannot control the system. For safety reasons, the Teleport will not change that mode via Modbus.
