Wolong-ATB

The Teleport can connect to Wolong-ATB Battery systems using Modbus RTU over RS485. The asset can be directly controlled via the Teleport to manage the available mode of operation:

  • Real Power Dispatch

Configuration

Modbus TCP over ethernet

  1. Connect the ethernet cable between the ETH1 port of the Teleport and the router. Navigate to our appendix for generic instructions on how to integrate with a router. Make sure to note the IP of Teleport and the IP of the asset(s). The router should be configured to assign a fixed IP to the meter.

Direct connection via the LAN port of the meter

  1. Connect the ethernet cable between the ETH1 port of the Teleport and the LAN port of the Wolong/ATB Battery.

  2. Configure the following settings, with values as described in Static IPs for a direct asset connection.

    • IP address
    • IP mask
    • Device Address: 1

Modbus RTU over RS485

  1. Connect the serial cable between the serial port of the Teleport and the serial port of the battery.

  2. Check that the settings are configured to the default values:

    • Device address: 1
    • Baud rate: 9600
    • Stop bits: 1
    • Start bits: 1
    • Parity: None
