Cewe

The Teleport can connect to the Cewe products included in the list of supported models below.

• Cewe Prometer (3rd generation)

Note

The Cewe Prometer (3rd generation) has a maximum of 1 Modbus TCP connections. Therefore, the meter can only be connected to the Teleport and not any other device.

Configuration

Modbus TCP over ethernet

1. Connect the ethernet cable between the ETH1 port of the Teleport and the LAN port of the Cewe asset.

2. Open the M-Cubed program on your computer, navigate to the transactions sub-menu, and click connect. Choose the connection media, choose Modbus as the communication type and click OK.

3. If you wish to change the IP address of the meter you can do so by clicking Change operations and selecting TCP/IP configuration. Enter the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway. Please let us know which values you have entered.

Modbus RTU over RS485

1. Connect the serial cable between the serial port of the Teleport and the serial port of the Cewe asset.

2. You can see the Modbus settings through the display on the meter directly. You can select the configuration page option and enter the password (default password: 000000). Select MODBUS configuration. Confirm the following settings in the Cewe asset or let us know if they are configured differently.:

   • Baud rate: 9600
   • Device address: 1
