Chint

Teleport can connect to Chint meters. You can connect using Modbus RTU using the RS485 serial interface.

Modbus RTU over RS485

  1. Connect the serial cable between the serial port of the Teleport and the serial port of the meter. The RS-485 connection between the Chint meter and Teleport is shown in the table below.

  2. Teleport is configured to use the following Modbus interface configuration. Please configure the meter to use the same settings or let us know if you use a custom configuration:
    • Device address: 1
    • Baud rate: 9600
    • Stop bits: 1
    • Parity: none
