Autarco

The Teleport can connect to Autarco Inverters via Modbus RTU over RS485. Please consult the official documentation for more detailed information about the asset.

Modbus RTU over RS485

  1. Connect the serial cable between the serial port of the Teleport and the serial port of the master inverter (first inverter in case of cascading). Depending on the configuration, Teleport can connect to up to 3 strings of inverters.

  2. Set the Modbus RTU settings on the asset according to the asset manual. Default settings are as follows:

    • Baud rate: 9600
    • Parity: None
    • Data bits: 8
    • Stop bits: 1

  3. Set the slave ID of the asset. In case of multiple inverters in series, make sure that each slave is assigned a unique slave ID. Please inform us of the chosen slave IDs and any settings that deviate from the default settings.
