SAJ

The Teleport can connect to SAJ inverters that support the Modbus protocol, see the list of supported models below.

Modbus TCP over ethernet

1. Connect the ethernet cable between the ETH1 port of the Teleport and the switch/router. Navigate to our appendix for instructions on how to integrate with a router. If there is only a single inverter, the Teleport can also be connected directly to the inverter.
2. Use the LCD display to go to the Settings and Communicate Set menu and configure the following properties.
   RS485 address: 1 (in case of multiple inverters, each inverter needs to have a unique address)

Modbus RTU over RS485

1. Connect the serial cable between the serial port of the Teleport and the serial port of the inverter. Please refer to the inverter’s user manual for the pinout of the RS485 connector.
2. Use the LCD display to go to the Settings and Communicate Set menu and configure the following properties.
   RS485 address: 1 (in case of multiple inverters, each inverter needs to have a unique address)
