Solar-Log

The Teleport can connect to the Solar-Log Base products included in the list of supported models below.

Supported models

• Solar-Log Base 15
• Solar-Log Base 100
• Solar-Log Base 2000

Note

Any other Solar-Log products listed in the Solar-Log hardware portfolio, like the Solar-Log 50 Gateway, or any discontinued products, like the Solar-Log 2000, are not supported.

Note

The Solar-Log Modbus TCP PM license is needed to control the Solar-Log, which should be bought from Solar-Log and activated on the device.

Modbus TCP over ethernet

Note

Solar-Log firmware verion 6.0.0 or higher is required to activate control through Modbus.

To update the firmware, navigate to the web interface of the Solar-Log and go to the CONFIGURATION and System menu. In the Firmware tab, click on CHECK in the Check for Update via Internet section and install the new firmware, if a new version is available.

1. Connect an ethernet cable between the router and the Solar-Log, as well as between the router and the ETH1 port of the Teleport. Please navigate to our appendix for more instructions on how to integrate with a router.
2. Navigate to the web interface of the Solar-Log and go to the CONFIGURATION and Feed in management menu.
3. In the PLANT PARAMETERS tab, configure the following properties.
   • Reference value for active power limitation to Inverter nominal power AC.
4. In the ACTIVE POWER tab, configure the following properties.
   • Power reduction type: Limitation [%]
   • Interface assignments to control: enable all devices that should be controlled
   • Limitation input source: Modbus PM V2
   • Limitation compensation mode: Inactive
5. In the REMOTE CONTROL tab, enable the ModbusTCP PM interface.
