Fronius Smart Meter
Teleport can read out Fronius Smart Meters through the Fronius Datamanager. The Smart Meter must be connected to the Fronius Datamanager via Modbus RTU over RS485, while the Teleport is connected to the Datamanager using Modbus TCP over ethernet. More configuration information can be found in the official documentation.

Modbus TCP over ethernet
Connection via a router (recommended)

Connect the ethernet cable between the ETH1 port of the Teleport and the router. Navigate to our appendix for generic instructions on how to integrate with a router. Make sure to note the IP of Teleport and the IP of the asset(s). The router should be configured to assign a fixed IP to the meter.

Connect the ethernet cable between the router and the Fronius Datamanager.

Modbus Settings: navigate to the Datamanager web interface following asset instructions and go to
Settings > Modbus
