Cubenergy

The Teleport can connect to Cubenergy battery systems using Modbus TCP over ethernet or using Modbus RTU over RS485. The battery system can be operated via Teleport to manage the available mode of operation:

• Real Power Dispatch

Warning

• The total discharged and charged energy readings directly from the battery system might not be very accurate. Cubenergy recommends adding a meter to the AC output of the battery system for more accurate measurements.
• The battery systems output power is unreliable for low setpoints. We have observed that setting the battery to charge or discharge with a small fraction of its nominal power, e.g. 0.5%, the battery will output a larger power, e.g. 2%.

Modbus RTU over RS485

1. Connect the serial cable between the serial port of the Teleport and the serial port of the battery.
2. The default settings are:
   • Device address: 1
   • Baud rate: 9600
   • Data bits: 8
   • Start bits: 1
   • Stop bits: 1
   • Parity: None

Modbus TCP over ethernet

The default communication settings are listed below. If any of these setting are changed, please notify us so we can reconfigure the Teleport accordingly.

• IP adress: 192.168.1.100
• Gateway: 192.168.1.1
