Modbus configuration
The Teleport can connect to Dyness battery systems using Modbus RTU over RS485 or TCP over Ethernet connection.
Modbus TCP over ethernet

Connect an Ethernet cable between the asset and either a router or an Ethernet port of the Teleport. If connected via a router, please navigate to our appendix for more instructions on how to integrate with a router.

Go to Setting > EMS > SysSet > Network to configure the TCP network configuration.

Modbus RTU over RS485

Connect the serial cable between the serial port of the Teleport and the serial port of the Dyness battery.

Check that the default settings are:
