Configuration

  1. Connect an Ethernet cable between the asset and either a router or an Ethernet port of the Teleport. If connected via a router, please navigate to our appendix for more instructions on how to integrate with a router.
  2. Install the Modbus/TCP write access FEMS App, in the OpenEMS Apps menu under Settings. See the FENECON documentation for details.
  3. In the Modbus/TCP write access FEMS App, click on EDIT APP to access the app’s settings. The API timeout is used to terminate the setpoint from the Teleport in case of a communication loss between the Teleport and the asset. Validate this option is set to 10 seconds or higher.
