Alpitronic

The Teleport can connect to Alpitronic Hypercharger charging stations using Modbus TCP.

Note

Currently, our tests have shown that the Alpitronic Hypercharger goes into an error mode when supplied with a 0 Watt limit by the Teleport. To avoid this, the minimal possible charging setpoint the Teleport will give the charger is -12 kW. Any schedule received by the Teleport above (closer to 0) this value will in effect be rounded down to -12 kW.

External control of the charging station must be activated in the configuration menu via the web page of the charging station. To do so, you have to follow these steps:

1. Go to the IP address and log in with your user and password.

2. In the main page of the settings of the charging station:

   • Go to General
   • Go to Power
   • Set ModBus Enabled to true
   • Click on Save Settings

3. Activate the changes made by Resetting the charging station.

   • Go back to the main page
   • Check that there are no cars connected to the charging station
   • Go to Reset
   • Choose Soft Reset HYC
