Battlink
The Teleport can connect to Battlink battery systems using Modbus TCP over ethernet (recommended) or Modbus RTU over RS485. The battery system can be directly controlled via Teleport to manage the available mode of operation:

Configuration
The Teleport can connect to Battlink battery systems using Modbus RTU over RS485 or TCP over Ethernet connection. When connecting to the battery please provide the chosen Slave ID, IP address and Port as configured on the asset and the router.
Modbus TCP over ethernet
- Connect the ethernet cable between the ETH1 port of the Teleport and one of the available ethernet ports of the Battlink. If the ethernet port of the asset is already occupied (e.g. connected to a router), navigate to our appendix for instructions on how to integrate with a router.
Modbus RTU over RS485
-
Connect the serial cable between the serial port of the Teleport and the serial port of the battery.
-
Check that the settings are configured to the default values:
- Device address:
1
- Baud rate:
9600
- Stop bits:
1
- Start bits:
1
- Parity:
None
