Fimer (ABB)
The Teleport can connect to all Fimer (and former ABB) inverters which support SunSpec protocol, see the list below. You can connect using Modbus TCP over ethernet (recommended) or Modbus RTU using the RS485 serial interface.

Modbus TCP over ethernet

Connect the ethernet cable between the ETH1 port of the Teleport and the LAN port of the ABB inverter. If the LAN port of the inverter is already occupied (e.g. connected to a router), navigate to our appendix for instructions on how to integrate with a router.

Log into the web user interface of the ABB inverter, navigate to Network menu. Under the RS485 sub-menu, set the RS485 Protocol Type to
Modbus Sunspec Server

Navigate back to the Network menu. Under the LAN sub-menu, edit the ETH1 configuration. Configure the following settings, with values as described in Static IPs for a direct asset connection.
