Week of August 18, 2025

✨ New Features

  • Added support for Hoymiles battery systems.
  • Building on last week’s update, a wider range of alarms for EVs, batteries, and local control will now auto-close.
  • Device restart alarms are now treated as singular events.
  • Customer Console:
    • The issue list now includes summary cards for “issues assigned to me” and “issues assigned to my organization”.
    • Issues related to data forwarding destinations are now fully visible.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • The startup procedure of Gotion has been updated to align with the process recommended by the manufacturer.
  • The Huawei SmartLogger asset implementation now correctly handles cases where an empty serial number is read, preventing potential errors.

Week of August 11, 2025

✨ New Features

  • Vestas: Added ice detection for Vestas wind turbines.
  • Customer Console: Users can now see issues related to data forwarding destinations and incoming emails directly in the customer console.
  • Issue Management: Disconnect frequency alarms will now auto-close.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Pixii: Fixed an issue that could lead to multiple simultaneous connections to the Pixii battery system.
  • SAJ: Corrected an error in how the active power limit percentage was handled for SAJ inverters.
  • Fox ESS EMU: Ensured the write command to the startup system is performed correctly for Fox ESS.
  • Gotion: State of Charge (SoC) and active power are now correctly read from the input registers for Gotion batteries.
  • Monitoring: Loosened the monitoring for incorrect battery configuration alarms to reduce false positives.

Week of August 4, 2025

✨ New Features

  • A new “Installer” role has been added to partnerships in the Teleport Console.
  • The device now includes a Modbus server for batteries, enabling direct communication and control. For more information, see the Modbus Server documentation.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • The monitoring user is now correctly displayed in the device group preview in the Teleport Console.
  • For Fox ESS EMU battery systems, the rack information is now correctly populated.
  • Several fixes for Vestas wind turbines, including correctly handling the active power reference as a number and removing the “running” status to avoid confusion.
  • Fixed a deployment issue that affected backward compatibility for solar, wind, and battery messages.

Week of July 28, 2025

✨ New Features

  • Implemented automated issue reminders sent via email to users of the Teleport Console.
  • For Tesla utility assets, a heartbeat was added and write commands are now blocked when in read-only mode.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Improved the information provided when re-opening issues related to battery errors.
  • Ensured the fallback power limit for Electric Vehicles (EVs) is correctly set as a non-positive number.
  • Added a configuration option for endianness for Phoenix Contact EMpro meters to resolve data reading issues.
  • Fixed an issue where a Power Conversion System (PCS) status change for Gotion batteries incorrectly triggered an email to customers.

✨ New Features

  • Added support for Gotion battery systems.
  • Added F&F relay asset integration with report readout functionality.
  • Issues now automatically re-open when the same alarm occurs shortly after an issue has been auto-closed, improving alarm reliability and reducing the amount of notifications.
  • Added Demo EV asset connector for testing and demonstration purposes.
  • Improved solar group asset connectors by properly initializing static and fallback limits on sub-asset connectors.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Siemens SiCharger communication by reducing write and heartbeat delays from 5,000ms to 1,000ms.
  • Fixed EV asset connectors (Siemens and VD Sijs) to properly allocate nominal power when no limit is imposed.
  • Fixed EV charging phases validation to prevent zero values.
  • Fixed Fox ESS EMU error code.
  • Fixed restart blocking mechanism to prevent device restarts during active control operations.
  • Fixed AWS SNS forwarding to not use MessageGroupId on non-FIFO topics.
  • Fixed issue reopening when a message is sent from the console.
  • Fixed console device status filter when filtering by devices with issues.

Week of July 14, 2025

✨ New Features

  • Introduced a new Asset Owner role in the Console. This allows users to grant their own customers access to the console to view specific assets.
  • To make alarm handling more intuitive, the console now displays the most recent alarm for each issue. We’ve also made frontend preparations for upcoming features where alarms will auto-close.
  • Added support for forwarding EV Power messages to external MySQL databases.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a critical issue where the “is unresponsive” alarm was not being triggered correctly for devices.
  • Fixed several issues found during field testing for Pixii battery systems.

Week of July 7, 2025

  • Fixed optimizer calculation of cost weights and static limits conversion.
  • Fixed issue where duplicate controllers could be created.

📚 Documentation

  • Removed duplicate model listing from Fimer ABB documentation.

🧹 Cleanup

  • Removed v1 scheduling endpoint, which was deprecated since november 2024.

  • Fixed SAJ inverter active power register readout issue.
  • Fixed Vestas AP wind turbine communication and control issues.
  • Fixed issue where a static upper power limit could be incorrectly overwritten by a controller’s minimum value.
  • Improved EV power curtailment limit monitoring to be less strict and reduce false alarms.
  • Fixed Eaton battery integration error handling.
  • Fixed modem DBUS communication for improved network connectivity.
  • Fixed irradiance sensor by adding support to block identifier readout.

Week of June 23, 2025

  • Added support for SAJ R5, R6, and C6 solar inverter models.
  • Gantner integration now allows adding a register offset for irradiance and wind sensors.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Sungrow string inverters now support active power percentage setpoints.
  • Fixed an issue where a static upper power limit could be incorrectly overwritten by a controller’s minimum value.
  • Bachmann: Corrected the sign for available charge power and added energy measurement reporting.
  • Fox ESS: “charge/discharge prohibited” alarms are now correctly treated as warnings instead of an errors.

  • Updated the Janitza documentation to include another UMG 806 model.

Week of June 16, 2025

  • Allow negative feed-in and consumption limits in the limitPower API command.
