The Teleport can connect to IBG Battery systems using Modbus RTU over RS485. The asset can be directly controlled via the Teleport to manage the available mode of operation:

Configuration

Modbus RTU over RS485

1. Connect the serial cable between the serial port of the Teleport and the serial port of the meter. When connecting the serial cable, Terminal A on the battery corresponds to the positive terminal on the Teleport, while Terminal B corresponds to the negative terminal on the Teleport.

2. The default settings are:

   • Device address: 5
   • Baud rate: 115200
   • Stop bits: 1
   • Parity: None
